Meighan and Matt were married on the shores of Donner Lake in Truckee with some amazing thunderstorm clouds high above and to the east of them. I met up with them at the Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee, one of my favorite wedding venues in the Lake Tahoe area. They have a cute toddler who was the flower girl, but after travelling from the east coast, she was pretty tired the day of the wedding. As soon as the ceremony was over, she was back in her comfortable clothes for the family portraits. Meighan and Matt had their first look at the Cedar House, and then we all went up to the Donner Lake overview for some dramatic, scenic portraits with the lake and clouds in the background. They had their first dance in the pavillion at the lake, and then everyone went back to the Cedar House for the reception. The Ceremony and reception music was performed by Jeff Jones.
