Sarah and Steven had a mid-October wedding at the Olympic Village Inn in Squaw Valley. While the Olympic Village Inn, or Lodge has been around for a long time, it has only recently been used as a wedding venue. Sarah and Steven had their wedding outside in the gardens with the reception inside the lodge. They both got ready in different rooms in the main Squaw Valley Village and we set up their first look under KT-22. They wanted a natural setting for their pictures, and since the Truckee River booze-cruise, (the slow class I float from the outflow of Lake Tahoe down to the turnoff to Alpine Meadows which is usually crowded in summer,) had dried up, I took them to some tall grass near a bend in the river where the rafts take out for their “formal” wedding portriats. From there we went back to the Village Inn, where they had a short and sweet ceremony, followed by a few family pictures and a great party. Congrats you guys!
