Kelly and Chas were married on a chilly Friday morning in May at St Patrick’s Church in Incline Village. After the ceremony, the couple and I went to Sand Harbor to do their portrait session. Like so many days before Memorial Day, we had the place to ourselves. The session was a fun mix of candid, documentary style wedding photojournalism and a few classic portraits. Lake Tahoe, the forest and the giant granite boulders served as the backdrops for their session. Chas works for the car company Audi, so we also spent some time photographing them with a white Audi R8 sports car.
