What a great weekend to kick off the wedding season for us at Lake Tahoe. First we got to do a 10-year anniversary shoot with Colin and Hope and their two crazy dogs that turned out amazing (see previous blog post.) Then I got to reunite with Lori and Brad, a super fun couple whose engagement photos I shot at Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe last year. These guys came in with just a few family and friends from Texas for a quiet and quick elopement on the shores of Lake Tahoe. I caught up with them for a 2-hour photo session shortly after. When I asked if they had anything they wanted specifically to shoot, they paid me the best complement ever by saying they loved their engagement pictures and whatever I came up with was fine with them. So after a few quick pictures in Truckee, we drove to South Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake, where I have been wanting to take a couple to the Lower Glen Alpine waterfall before they became just a summer-time trickle.
